This short series on the Creation Ordinances was given to help us think through such things as why we work? What’s our responsibility for the environment? What is marriage and what’s our responsibility in having children? What is the ultimate goal of all of God’s creating activity and how am I to respond to it today in the light of what Christ has done for the church (including me). In creating the universe the Lord established a covenant. Like all covenants the covenant of creation came with stipulations (ordinances) along with blessings for those who obey. These ordinances and blessings are for ALL mankind: From every age, race, religion and tongue. The aim of the series was to remind ourselves of the benefits and blessings of joyful obedience to God’s creation ordinances.
