At Heathcote Engadine Baptist Church we want to make your visit an enjoyable one. We hope you will find our church a warm welcoming community that includes all ages and stages of life.
What are the services like?
At present we offer one service - Sunday 9.30am.
Our main focus is on God through the reading and preaching of His word the Bible. We encourage intergenerational participation in our service so that every one can offer up praise to God in prayer, singing and giving. We also value spending time together, often over coffee or a meal to encourage each other as we live our lives for Jesus. Our 9.30am service is always followed by a cuppa.
Do you have a children's program?
During our 9.30am service we offer Sunday School for children in K-6 in school term and Creche for preschool children all-year-round. We consider children an important part of our church family, so this ministry includes an age appropriate Bible teaching time from leaders who comply with Child Safe Practices.

Our aim is to grow in our love and knowledge of our saving God and in love and respect for one another in order that we may go...

For the sake of God's glory we will go and make disciples for Jesus in obedience to His command.
BIBLE BASED TEACHING
We commit unreservedly to the Bible as the ultimate authority that defines our beliefs, transforms our lives and governs our behaviour, and to the preaching and teaching of the Bible in all the diverse ministries of the church.
GOSPEL CENTRED CHURCH
We depend totally on God’s transformation of our lives through the completed work of Christ and we recognise that God has sent us to share His Gospel with the people of our suburb, state, country and world.
GROWTH IN GODLINESS
We grow more like Christ in all of life through the gifting and empowering of the Holy Spirit and through our active involvement in Bible study, our participation in ministry, and our deepening personal and corporate prayer life.
CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY
We identify as part of Christ’s alternate community in the world and will seek to grow a community that is prayerful, caring and compassionate, such that it demonstrates a spirit of unity and radiates the love of Christ in that world.

We believe that every member is in Christian ministry, both through service in the church and the practice of their trade or profession, and that the church leadership will provide the equipping to make that ministry effective in the purposes of God.
